was incorporated in Malaysia on 11 August 1981. Since its incorporation,
Abex Medical System has grown tremendously
from a 5-man business set-up to one of the premier medical equipment
suppliers in Malaysia with core business services in sales,
supply, testing, commissioning and servicing of medical equipment.
Over the years, the sales turnover has increased rapidly which
is evident through past track records.
Today, Abex Medical System
boasts a staff strength of 135 personnel, of which more than
50% are technically trained support staff to provide excellent
after-sales service of the highest standards.
In its quest to achieve quality excellence,
Abex Medical System was awarded the ISO 9001:2000
certification on 15 September 2003 in areas of sales & marketing,
supply, installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance
and servicing of medical equipment.
Abex Medical Sytem
has established 4 subsidiaries in line with its business expansion
plans.
Kumpulan Abex Sdn. Bhd.,
the first of its subsidiaries, ventured into the Test and
Measuring Instruments and Communications equipment industry.
Subsequently, Technology Medical
Associate Sdn. Bhd. was established to further strengthen
the group's position in the medical equipment and consumables
market.
The incorporation of Kworx
Sdn. Bhd. brought about a diversification into the
IT business for the group providing innovative, enterprise
scale and business management solutions.
The group's portfolio was further enhanced
with the establishment of Abex Manufacturing Sdn.
Bhd. which manufactures and installs NGV components,
traffic barrier gates, pedestrian control and ticketing systems.
